Coming to rest in two pieces having scattered parts across the grass as it disintegrated, whi꧋le Elliott – who detache⭕d from the low-side early in the accident – was unhurt, it forced OMG Racing into a complete rebuild.
Remarkably, the team followed through and 🙈had Elliott back on track in FP3 and Qualifying. Though Elliott went on to have a tough three races outside of the points,♓ he was amazed to be out on track at all after Friday’s incident.
“Really tough weekend, I probably had the biggest crash of my career in FP2 down Craner Curves and completely destroyed the bike which gave the team a lot of work to do. A massive thank you to t🐲he whole team, they’ve done an amazing job to basically build a brand-new bike for Satur🌌day.
