“This major on-track project is a hugely positive move which massively promotes the safety of competitors, both in car and motorcycle rac🎃ing,” Mike Groves, Brands Hatch Circuit Manager, said.
“This development significantly increases the size of our gravel trap run-off at Clearways and Cl🌞ark Curve but will continue to allow spectators to view from that area of the venue if they so wish.”
Brands Hatch has confirmed the improvements will be completed in time for the 2020 season with the BMCRC-MRO Bik🌱e championship debuting the updated▨ track.
Fellow MotorSport Vision-run circuits Snetterton and Cadwell Park are also undergoing updates ahead of the 2020 season. Snetterton has seen new Armco barr✅iers installed along the Bentley Straight plus new fire and recovery vehicles, while Cadwell Park’s paddock tarmac area is being incr🥂eased along with minor resurfacing work and barrier improvements.
Both Brands ဣHatch and Snetterton host the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship and the B🐠ennetts British Superbike championship, while BSB also heads to Cadwell Park in 2020.
