<I>Cirque</I> joins circus for Mont-Tremblant.

The world-famous Cirque du Soleil has༺ confirmed that it will be making a special appearance at Champ Car's return to Mont-Trembl🧸ant this summer, helping the series to mark Canada Day.

The CCWS travels to the Canadian venue over the weekend of 29 June - 1 July - replacing the previous Montreal event - and its arrival has attracted the attention of Cirque founder Guy Laliberte, who confirmed that his troop of acrobats will take time out from the Canadian leg of its Cirque 2007 touring show to provide an extraordinary backdrop to the on-track ac𝔉tion.

"🎃My passion for motorsport has never been a well-kept secret," Laliberte explained, "It is, however, t🃏he first time that Cirque du Soleil has officially been involved in a major motorsport event.

"To mark the return of primཧe-time motorsport at Circuit Mont-Tremblant, Cirque du Soleil will create a festive ambiance and undertake the artistic organisation and presentation of this eventful weekend. Over the years, we have come to observe and under♐stand the expectations of motorsport fans when it comes to off-track recreational activities, and we will showcase all we have learned in our business to conceive the best entertainment atmosphere."

Tickets for the event will go on sale from 1 March, and Laliberte joined Normand Legault, president and CEO of Groupe Motori🅠s? International, in welcoming the return ওof Mont-Tremblant to a major US open-wheel racing series schedule.
