Brazilian Helio Castroneves secured his second AAMCO Transmissions Pole Award in as many races at the famous Milwaukee Mile and his fourth inꦉ just six races so far t🔥his season on Saturday in qualifying for the ABC Supply Co/AJ Foyt 225.

Marlboro Team Penske driver Castroneves, who sat on the pole and finished third last Sunday at the Indian⭕apolis Motor Speedway gained a measure of redemption for his race-day mishaps at the famed Br𓄧ickyard by outpacing his nearest rival in qualifying by more than two tenths of a second.

Castroneves saved his best for last on his two-lap qualifying run, rounding the flat one-mile Milwaukee oval in a best time of 21.3596secs💧 to put top spot beyond everyone else's reach as he tries to erase memories of last year's Milwaukee race, where he took pole but was then taken out of contention in an early crash.

Scott Dixon will start alongside Castroneves on row one in his Target Chip Ganassi Racing Dallara with Andretti-Green Racing's Ton♋y Kanaan and Dixon's teammate Dan Wheldon on row two.

Although defending Milwaukee winner Kanaan qualified well, the same could not be said for the reꦬst of the Indy 500-winning Andretti-Green team as Indianapolis winner Dario Franchitti managed only 10th fastest time with Marco Andretti 14th and Danica Patrick 17th and the slowe🎐st of those who made a qualifying attempt.
