Following on from Team West-Tec earlier this week, defꦫending British GT Champions Brookspeed Team Trimite had become the ꧟latest British outfit to reveal plans to run in the new Formula Le Mans Series this season.

The team, which carried Jon Barnes and James Gornall to the Br🎃itish GT crown, will look to run two cars in the ACO-backed series, which will run alongside the Le Mans Series and at the Le Mans 24 Hoꦍurs.

The series will 💎also featureღ a standalone event at the end of the year.

"We are convinced that this is the most exciting new series to be conceiv𒐪🌃ed in recent years, and with the huge experience and backing of Oreca and the ACO, it has enormous credibility," Brookspeed's Guy De Vries said. "The concept is absolutely right and the initiative to reduce costs comes at a perfect time in this economic environment.

"The feedback we've had so far, from those who have driven the car suggests that thi🥀s will offer the perfect forum for drivers and teams wishing to progress into international prototype sports cars in a very cost effective way."

The experienced figure o🔜f Doug Bebb will take on the role of race engineering director for the programme, with a number of drivers due to test the car at Paul Ricard later this month.
