Aussie motocross star Matt Moss was involved in a horrible crash at the weekend'𓃲s Australian MX Natꦆionals. Moss was apparently on a Super pole lap when he landed a jump and went straight into "an undirected piece of machinery".
Moss was attended to by the onsite medical team before being transferred to hospital, but as yet confirmation of the rider's condition have not🔴 been revealed.
The organisers releas⛦ed a statement regarding the incident a𒅌s below on the series website
"Williams Event Management and Motorcycling Australia wish to advise that an incident has occurred 👍at round seven of the 2015 MX Nationals in Shepparton this morning, involving Team Motul Suzuki's Matt Moss.
The incident occurred dur𓆏ing GoPro Super Pole where an undirected piece of machinery entered the track, causing a collision with defending 🌞MX Nationals champion Moss.
Moss was immediately attended to by the RACESAFE Medical T♊eam and has been transferred to hospital by ambulance in a stable condition for further assessment of his injuries.
Willi🎶🌳ams Event Management, Motorcycling Australia and the event Steward has now commenced a thorough investigation into the incident and will provide updates on Matt's condition as they become available."
While the precise details of the crash were fairly liꦦmited, a brief mobile phone video was uploaded to social media appearing to show the shocking incident. The machinery involved appears to be a mini-digg♚er, but this is not confirmed.
Moss is the reigning Austalian MX1 champion in both motocross and supercross, having ♍retained both his 2013 titles in ღ2014. We will update the website once detail's of Moss' condition are released.
