Marc Coma is a truly astounding motorcycle racer. During his 13 year career the Spaniard clocked up a sta🙈ggering five victories at the Dakar - arguably the toughest off-road race in the world - and sti𓄧ll had time to clock up six world rally titles.

In July this year, Coma announced his retirement from racing to take on a new role as Sporting Director for the Dakar Rally, and has been assisting Etienne Lavigne and the team of Dakar or⛦ganizers as they prepare for the 2016 edition.

This year's race starts in less than a week on January 3 and runs until the 16th, on a tortuous route through Argentina and Bolivia, the longest day taking in 🦩an﷽ incredible 931km on the 12th stage at San Juan.
