Whi🍨lst waiting for the next world championship round, in Bulgari this weekend, the German won the first two races in the saddle of the four-stroke Honda 450cc, while Coppins conquered the Superfinal with the CR250R.
The Aichwald-based event, which took place in front of 7000 spectators, was blessed with warm sun which ensured that the track was hard and dry. Beirer won the first two heats - in the first, overcomi💝ng fellow German rider Bernd Eckenback, and, in the second, showing the confidence that the single-c♏ylinder Honda CRF450R had given him at the GP Austria.
The event was useful training for Coppins too, as the second-ranked rider in the 250cc GP series triumphed in the Superfinal, after running with his team-mate and beating him by just a second. The New Zealander is now in second pla♉ce inꦯ the German classification, with the next round at Bremen Hoope on 28 July.
