Roger Lee Hayden, younger brother of 2006 MotoGP world champion Nicky, is to make his grand prix debut as a Moto2 wild-card at t🎉he Indianapolis round in late August.

Roger Lee is currently taking part in his first full World Superbike season with Pedercini Kawasaki, but has been signed to ride a Moriwaki chassis - theꦜ same design as leads the inaugural 2010 Moto2 tit🗹le chase with Toni Elias.

"This is a great opportunity for me to race in front of my home crowd at a MotoGP event," said Hayden. "The Moto2 class is really compཧetitive and I'm looking forward to jumping in the middle of it."

The entry is being backed by America👍n Honda, with 1993 500cc world champion Kevin Schwantz to act as team manager.

"It's an honour for me to be chosen as team manager," said Schwantz.💞 "We've been using CBR600RRs for some time now at our schools, and I've ridden a Moto2 bike and it's very good. I watched the first three Moto2 races and I expect the raci🎐ng to be just as good at Indy."

The team will be staffed by🌠 technicians from Erion Racing technicians, Americanജ Honda's premier support team.
