Moto2: Takahashi takes afternoon honours

Yuki Takahas൩hi improved from just 27th after a cra༺sh in first practice for the Spanish Moto2 Grand Prix to lead the second Friday session at Jerez.
The Japanese, riding for reigning world champion's Gresini Moriwaki, knocked 1.8sec from his opening session time, despite windy conditions meaning that many best laps were ܫset in the morning.
But while 🔥Takahashi's recovery was impressive, reigning 125cc world champion and ho🔥me star Marc Marquez performed a similar feat.
The Spaniard lost a large part of the session after technical troubles with his Catalunya Caixa Repsol Suter, but charg♉ed up the order꧅ to second, just 0.095sec from Takahashi, by the time the flag was shown.
Takahashi's best lap was a 1min 44.044sec, while the best of the day was a 1min 43.527sec set by🌱 Interwetten Suter's Thomas Luthi in FP1.
Stefan Bradl, winner from pole in the season⭕-opening Qatar Grand Prix, was second overall behind Luthi thanks to his morning time with Takahashi (fifth in Qatar) a 'combined' third.
