Monday's windy Moto2 an♒d Moto3 test at Aragon didn't just feature thi♍s year's machines, but also some Triumph-powered 2019 bikes.
Former World Superbike race winner Lorenzo Lanzi was at the controls of♛ the new MV Agusta bike (pictured) while ex-grand prix racer Alex De Angelis put next year's NTS chassis through its paces.
Forward Racing, MV's partner for the 2019 project, said that Lanzi recorded a best time of 1m 56.4s during 83 laps. That c♏ompares with a best race lap of 1m 53.5s by Alex Marquez (Kalex) during Sunday's Moto2 race.
"The day went very well, it was really productive and I think the t🥀est was really complete," Lanzi said. "We tested the suspension, a new type of tyre, the saddle positions, and we also worked on the st🌟eering angle.
"The amount of work was great and I'm happy to have successfully compl🎉eted all the needs of today. I really thank the guys of the team who have supported me in the work in a competent and careful way."
The sc🍸rapping of Romano Fenati's contract means MV is still to confirm its riders for 2019.
Meanwhile, Aragon Moto2 race winner Brad Binder will ret💯urn to the track tomor♉row for his first proper test on the 2019 KTM machine.

Peter has been in the paddock for 2🃏0 years and has seen Valentino Rossi comꦉe and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
