- Marc Marquez questions Jorge Lorenzo’s reasons for retiring and leaving Repsol Honda one year into his contract. During his retirement announcement in Valencia last November, Lorenzo said the fear of crashing and seriously injuring himself was part of his reason to quit but has since signed up as Yamaha test rider and already has a wild-card outing planned. Marquez feels Lorenzo’s fear was down to 🥃the RC213V and not ܫunderstanding it rather than racing.

- Fabio Quartararo says he’d be willing to do 15 racꦍes on consecutive weekends all run behind closed doors if it meant starting the 2020 MotoGP season again. The Petronas Yamaha rider remains in lockdown at his Andorra home and unable to train outside or on motorbikes and says he is “going crazy”.
- Alvaro Bautista says if Honda gave him the opportunity to return to MotoGP he wouldn’t turn it down. The Spanish rider switched to the Japanese manufacturer over the winter to spearhead its new HRC factory effort in the World Superbike championship with the new CBR1000RR-R. Bautista ended his time in MotoGP w🔴hen he secured a factory Ducati WorldSBK spot last year.
