Fermin Aldeguer has reportedlyꦯ signed a contract with Ducati to move into one of their MotoGP teams in 2025.

The exci💃ting teenage talent will remain in Moto2 this year with the Speed Up Racing Team.

But, next year, he will progress into the premie✤r class a🤡nd slot into a space at team under the Ducati umbrella,  report.

Last week, before Ducati unveiled its Gresini and factory liveries, Aldeguer was present in their headqℱuarters to pen th𝐆is hugely significant contract, the report states.

“Ducati doesn’t want any surprises, Ducati doesn’t want any uncertainties in the immediate future,” i♕t is reported.

By snapping up the 18-year-old Spaniard, they ha💛ve secured one of the hottest talents outside of MotoGP.

He finished third in last season’s Moto2 championship which was won by Pedro Acosta, who🀅 will ride in the premier class for Tech3 GASGAS this yꦇear.

Aldeguer almost followed Acosta into MotoGP for 2024 when he was li𒁏n🤡ked to vacancies at Repsol Honda and then VR46.

But S🍒peed Up Racing Team owner Luca Boscoscuro decided Aldeguer was “not for sale no matte𝓀r how many millions were offered to him”.

Aldeguer will now have an😼 exciting selection to pick from in a year’s time.

Every MotoGP rider except for Brad Binder (KTM) and Lꦍuca Marini (Honda) will see their contracts expire at the end of this s𓂃eason meaning a merry-go-round of rider moves is anticipated.

Pramac, ꦿat first glance, looks the most obvious landing spot for Aldeguer.

Jorge Martin has vowed to spend one final year at Pramac then either move to the factory Ducati team or quit for another bღrand, meaning a spot will open up which Aldeguer now becomes a leading contender for.

Elsewhere, VR46 have Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio di Giannantonio, while Gresini h🌼ave Marc Marquez (whose 2025 options are already being debated) and Alex Marquez.

Francesco Bagnaia and 🦹Enea Bast💙ianini are the factory pair.

With Aldeguer’s future now controlled by Duꦺcati, bikes for the 2025 grid have suddenly become even more coveted𓂃 than before.
