The Aspar Aprilia ꦜrider has thus been the fastest world championship rider during all five days of 2009 125cc testing to date, first at Jerez and then Valencia, althoughಞ his Sunday advantage was only 0.129sec - far lower than has been previously seen.

Closest to Simon wasn't team-mate Bradley Smith, bꦇut Sergio Gadea, with Smith edging out fellow Briton Scott Redding for third position. KTM's Marc Marquez completed a top five covered by 0.57sec.
