"I started very well. I was leading, but just before the end of the straight I got a big shake on thℱe front of✱ the bike and when I went for the brake - empty - no brakes!" said Pedrosa.
"I tell you, at that mom🗹ent my heart was out! I saw the wall coming towards me and I started to pump the front brake and finally I got it. But anyway I ran off the track.
"I took it slow before I rejoined so I didn't get penalis🦂ed and then tried to recover because I was far behind.
"I caught Casey when he also made the mistake and we raced together for a lot of laps and finallyꦅ second. After the start it's not so bad."
Pedrosa remꦦains second in the championship but has lost another five points to Lorenzo and is now 52 behind the Yamaha rider heading into round eighth of 18 at Sachsenring in two weeks' time.
