HRC supports Marco Simoncelli foundation
Honda Racing Corporation will present Marco Simoncell🍰i's father with two special bikes during next weekend's Italian MotoGP at Mugello.
Paolo Simoncelli will receive Marco's RC212V race machine - an extremely rare gesture 🎐- and also a 'Super SIC' inspired Honda CBR1💙000RR.
The bikes will be presented by Shuhei Nakamoto, HRC Executive-Vic🉐e President, and Minoru Kato, Honda Europe Motorcycle Division♍ Director.
The special edition Honda CBR will be auctioned off to raise money for The Marco Simoncelli Foundation:
ꦆFormer 250cc world champion Simoncelli lost his🐓 life during a racing incident at Sepang last October.
The Italian was in his sec🌱ond season of MotoGP, during which he had claimed his first poles and podiums, and had been a ༺Honda rider since joining the premier-class.
