Privateer CRT riders using the Magneti Marelli ECU will receive a software upgrade for this weekend's F👍rench MotoGP at Le Mans.

Seven riders began the season with theཧ new Magneti Marell🅘i system, which will be made compulsory from 2014.

The Le Mans software update is aimed at improving wheelie control🍷 and 'anti-jerk' - making the initial throttle connection smoother.

The CRT standings are currently led by Aspar's Aleix Espargaro, last year's class winner, who li🐽ke all of the ART riders uses Aprilia's own electronic system.

The top rider with the Magneti Marelli ECU is He꧒ctor Barbera (Avintia FTR Kawasaki) - presently ten points behind Espargaro and second in the privateer class.

Barbera qualified tenth on the grid last time at Jerez, marking the first time that the new Magneti Marelli systeღm has made the final part of qualifying.

Other Magneti Marelli privateers are Barbera's team-mate Hiroshi Aoyama, Colin Edwards and Claudio Corti (Forward Raciꦗng), Danilo Petrucci and Lucas Pesek (Came IodaRacing) plus Michael Laverty (PBM).

The manufacturer MotoGP rideꦫrs will also switch to the 'control' Magneti Marelli ECU hardwar💙e next year, but will be allowed to continue using their own bespoke software.
