A 'Stop-Cancer' helmet signed by 12 past and presenꦅt MotoGP stars has beeܫn auctioned for a record-breaking ?200,000, (EUR255,000).

It makes the 🧜helmet - signed by Giacomo Agostini, Angel Nieto, Valentino 🎃Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Marc M?rquez, Dani Pedrosa, Wayne Rainey, Loris Capirossi, ?lex Crivill?, Wayne Gardner, Scott Russell and Randy Mamola - the most expensive in the world, with all proceeds being donated to charity.

The helmet was the idea of Spanish university student Alberto Hernandez and Oscar Haro, a member of the LCR Honda Team. The aim was to raise funds for AECC, (Spanish🎉 Association against Cancer) () and Riders For Health (), the official charity of MotoGP.

Anthony Constantinou, CEO of CWM FX and title Sponsor of LCR Hondaꦓ from 2015, was at Valencia for the last race of the MotoGP season. Having heard about the auction, he decided to take part online... and offered a staggering ?200,000!

"With so many families affected by cancer, it's important that we all join together to support the charities which provide vital services for patients and their loved ones," Constantinou said. "The team has done an excellent job in raising aw൲areness and funds. I'm pleased I could play a part in this deserving cause and I hope it inspires others to get involved in the fight against cancer."

No other helmet has raised such a high price at auction, the figure far exc༺eeding the previous records established by helmets from two other great champions; Ayrton Senna, which raised ?74,750 (EUR94,200) in 20ꦏ12, and Sebastian Vettel, sold for ?72,100 (EUR90,900) in 2013.
