Former grand prix star Loris Capirossi is to take over the role of Do💟rna's representative on the MotoGP's Race Direcಞtion panel.

The Italian - who worked▨ as a Dorna Safety Advisor after retiring at th꧙e end of 2011, then a Riders' Representative for Race Direction - replaces Javier Alonso, who left Dorna at the end of last year.

The revised composition of Race Direction will thus be as follows: Mike Webb, Race Director (IRTA Representative); Franco Uncini, Grand Prix Safety Officer (FIM Representative) and Capiro♚ssi (Dorna Representative).
