Pedrosa: I'm pretty angry

Fastest on Friday, Dani Pedrosa dropped to tenth in qualifying🎐 and then had to settle for a frustrating eighth in🎶 Sunday's Czech Republic MotoGP.

The cause of his miser🦩y was a lack of acceleration, which was costing the Repsol Honda rider as much as 0.2s per corner exit.

"I'm pretty angry about the feeling on the bike," Pedrosa said. "I♛ wasn't able to do my thing and basically it's because I wasn't going strong out of the corner, because I lose💃 so much.

"Every time I touch the throttle I spin and I lose 0.2 per acceleration exit. So then I have to recover in bra🔯king, so ꦐI'm doing the 'elastic [band effect]' all the time with the group and I cannot make any passes because I'm too far back when I arrive to the braking point.

"It's been this situation in t🧔he last few races and I think it's dif🐈ficult to improve, to fight, when I lose pretty much 0.2 per acceleration. It's a lot at the end of the lap. So we have to work tomorrow in the test to see if I can find something that can give me this better exit."

Asked why he had🌠 looked so strong on Friday, Pedrosa explained: "I did more-or-less the same lap time all weekend. So it must be the other guys improving during the weekend."

Team-mate Marc Marquez was third and ꧒LCR Honda'💞s Cal Crutchlow fifth.

Pedrosa, who will retire at the end🌠 of this season, is twelfth in the world championship.
