MotoGP: Marquez ominous in morning warm-up

Marc Marquez underlined his intentions for Sunday’s MotoGP outing at Misano by posting a devastating twelve-lap run on꧅ a used front tyre, while outpacing both factory Ducatis in terms of outright speed.

After enduring a dramatic, incident-packed qualifying, the cu🥀rrent championship leader was in swashbuckling form as he completed a succession of laps in the mid-high 1m 32s with ease. Andrea Dovizioso, second fastest, could only manage a handful.

Marc Marquez underlined his intentions for Sunday’s MotoGP outing at Mi𓂃sano by posting a devastating twelve-lap run on a used front tyre, while outpacing both factory Ducatis in terms of outܫright speed.

After enduring a dramatic, incident-packed qualifying, the cur🐻rent championship leader was in🌟 swashbuckling form as he completed a succession of laps in the mid-high 1m 32s with ease. Andrea Dovizioso, second fastest, could only manage a handful.

Times at the top were tight, with Dovizioso just 0.028s sloweꦏr and Lorenzo 0.151s off the reigning world champion. But neither rider in red appeared particularly pleased at the close of the session as the extent of their afternoon challenge became clear.

Cal Crutchlow enjoyed a positive session, ending it with the fourth fastest time, 0.441♉s off the front, with Jack Miller fifth. Dani Pedrosa appears to have found a cure for his accelerating issues in sectors two and four with the sixth quickest time.

The warm-up wasn’t so positive for the Movistar Yamahas ꦺof Maverick Viñales (seventh)𝄹 and Valentino Rossi (eleventh), who were 0.6s and 0.9s off Marquez’s pace.
