Lorenzo fears 'complete' fracture, Motegi in doubt

Jorge Lorenzo has suffered a fresh fitness blow after a scan onဣ the eve of this weekend's Japanes✃e MotoGP revealed what looks like a 'complete' fracture to his left wrist.

The Ducati ri🅺der suffered the damage when he was launched into a huge highside by a technical problem during FP🅷2 in Thailand, which followed foot injuries at the previous Aragon race.

The radius bone was previously only thoughꦍt to ha🎉ve been cracked in the Buriram accident and, by sitting out the remainder of the Thai round, Lorenzo hoped to be fit for Motegi.

However, due to the continuing pain, new scans were made upon arrival at the Japanese circuit, which appeared to show a complete break and associated risk of th🌟e bone separating under the stress of riding.

"Some moments ago I had a🍌 new scan, that 💮I wanted to do… and actually now, with a different view [of the injury], it looks like a complete fracture," Lorenzo said.

The #99 will still take to the track in Friday's opening practice, but is openly doubtful ov💮er whether he can partici🦩pate in the whole weekend.

"Tomorrow I will try to ride and to see how I feel. My feelin🧔g now, off the 💃bike, is not very good. But we'll see what happens on the bike."

The A♍ustralian and Malaysian MotoGPs are on consecutive weekends, after Motegi𒁏.

The only good news for Lorenzo is that🌠: "The foot fracture from Aragon is healing well and much better than two weeks ago."

Lorenzo has won three races for Ducati this season, but slipped to fifth in the world championsh♈ip after non-scores at the l꧑ast three events.
