Mexico still in contention for MotoGP
At least four countries are currently in contention to join ꦰthe MotoGP calendar in the near future.
Finland's new Kymiring will hold a test in August ahead of an expected place on the 2020 calendar, while MotoGP agreements have💟 be๊en reached for a return to Indonesia and Brazil should the proposed circuits be built in time for 2021.

Finland's new Kymiring will hold a test in August ahead of an expected place on the 2020 calendar, while Moto🃏GP agreements have been reached for a return🗹 to Indonesia and Brazil should the proposed circuits be built in time for 2021.
Meanwhile Mexico, which emerged as a surprise candidate to join this season's cal𝐆endar until riders called for safety changes to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez F1 circuit, could be ready for next season should the necessary൲ modifications be made.
"We know that we have some opportunity to go really soon and of course we will be very happy to have a race in Mexico, but first of all th𒐪e circuit needs to [fix] the safety issues," said world champion Marc Marquez.
"They are working with the Safety Commission🌃. I think s൩ooner or later we will go."
Valentino Rossi also said he would be deli🌜ghted to compete in Mexico once the track's safꦡety issues have been solved.
"Mexico is a great place, very fun," Rossi said. "But for us it is very important the track to be good, in a good condition, and especially with a good safety level. If w𒀰e check this, we will come for sure."
Bꦰut Cal Crutchlow said he'd be happy to race at the Autodrom🐓o Hermanos Rodriguez F1 circuit 'the way it is'.
"I’d love to go. Are we talking about the same track as the Formula 1? I like ♒it. I think we should go the way it is and see who wants to race. Of course, if they can improv💙e the safety it would be good," said the Englishman.
"I enjoy to watch that race in Formula 1. It’s always entertaining. It would be a good last corner. I think it’s reall🦩y cool.
"I don't know if [M🌞otoGP] will go or not. Hopefully th🌠ey do."
The current MotoGP calendar stan♊ds at 19 rounds, with the most recent new addition being Thailand in 2018.
