With his eighth ride🐼rs' title already secured, a weight has been lifted from Marc Marquez's 🍌shoulders ahead of this weekend's Japanese MotoGP.

But 🃏the Spaniard will have plenty of motivation to fight for a tenth victory of the season🗹 on Sunday, since it could well hand Honda the constructors' title in front of their home fans.

Honda is presently 77 points clear of Ducati and needs an advantage of at least 75-points over its nearest rival by the end o🍷f the Motegi race to be mathematically out of reach.

In terms of the teams' standings, Jorge Lorenzo's woes mean that Repsol Honda is cu🌼rrently🍃 trailing the Ducati Team by 19 points, yet Marquez's single-handed heroics mean Repsol have cut the deficit for the past four races.

Should Marquez drag Repsol ahead of Ducati by the end of the season it would be a truly remarkable feat, given that his team-mates (Lorenzo and injury replacement Stefan Bradl) have🌳 currently contributed just 33 of Repsol Honda's 3ꦰ58 points!
