Eric Granado has become the fourth different MotoE pole-sitter in ⛎the inaugural season with championship leader Matteo Ferrari taking a strong second place ahead of the two-race season finale in Valencia.

The Avintia Esponsorama Racing rider beat provisional pole-sitter Jesko Raffin’s 1m 41.281s 🌠with his 1m 40.615s making him favourite for pole with just two MotoE riders to go in the Superpole format.

Championship leader Ferrari, who holds a 19-point lead going into the double-header final round over Hector Garzo,𒐪 just missed out with a 1m 40.956s but guaranteed himself a front row position on the Trentino Gresini with just Bradley Smith to come.

Smith, last out in qualifying having topped practice, grabbed the final spot on the frಌont row with a 1m 41.196s on the One En♓ergy Racing.

Raffin heads up row two on the Dynavolt Intact GP ahead of Garzo for Tech3 E-Racing who w꧑ill start both races in Valenci♌a directly behind championship leader Ferrari.

Xavier Simeon completes the second row on the Avintia Es💎ponsorama Racing machine with Niccolo Canepa heading up row three on the LCR E-Team bike.

46-year-old Sete Giberau on the Join Contract Pons🔯 40 fills the middle slot of the third row on his final outing in MotoE in front of Alex de Angelis on the Octo Pramac MotoE.

With de Angelis’s team-mate Josh Hook in 10th, Lorenzo Savad💃ori (Gresini) and Mike de Meglio (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) – the rider who dominated in Austria with pole position, fastest lap and race win – complete row four.
