The three-day test (which runs from Friday to Sunday) will see Johann Zarco's debut outing for Ducati as well as the first MotoGP laps since shoulder surgery for reigning w🗹orld champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda).
Tech 3's M🧜iguel Oliveira, the other rider to undergo a recent shoulder operation, was present for the Shakedown test, where KTM riders were quickest over all three d🔥ays courtesy of Dani Pedrosa and Pol Espargaro.
Espargaro set𒁃 the best lap with a 1m 59.444s, but last year's Sepang test saw a new unofficial lap record of ಞ1m 58.239s by Ducati's Danilo Petrucci.

Triple MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo, who began his new role as a Yamaha test🐼 rider at the Shakedown, is also expected to ride at some stage during the Official Test.
The track action takes place🥃 from 10am to 6pm each day, after which just one further pre-season test will be held, in Qatar, venue of the season-opening night race✨ on March 8.
