Following a Shakedown for test riders, concession manufacturers KTM and Aprilia𝓀, plus rookies, the full 2020 MotoGP grid is taking to the track fꦜor the first time this year at Sepang in Malaysia.

Fabio Quartararo was quickest for Petronas Yamaha on day one, us𓂃ing a 2019 bike. The French star is makin𓂃g his debut on the 2020 Factory-Spec M1 today (Saturday).

The three-day test (Friday-Sunday) marks Zarco's debut outing for Ducati as well as the first MotoGP laps since shoulder surgery f🧔or reigning world champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda)🎃.

Tech 3's Miguel Oliveira, the other rider to u🌼ndergo a recent shoulder operation, was present for the Shakedown, where KTM riders were quickest over all three days courtesy of Dani Pedrosa and Pol Espargar🎐o.

Last year's Sepang꧒ test saw a new🍎 unofficial lap record of 1m 58.239s set by Ducati's Danilo Petrucci - will the new Michelin rear tyre combined with the latest bike developments produce the first ever 1m 57s lap?

Triple MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo, who began his new role as a Yamaha test rider at the Shakedown, is also expected to ride at some stage duriܫng the Official Test.

T𓆉he track action takes place from 10am to 6pm each day, after which just one further pre-season test will be held, in Qatar, venue of the season-ope♛ning night race on March 8.
