It'll mark the start of 13 races in the space of jไust 18 weeks, with the possibility of any end-of-year flyaways still to be decided.
Yamaha stars Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo set the pace during Wednesday's test session at the Spanish t🐎rack, but with Honda's reigning six-time champion and defending Jerez winner Marc Marquez also consistently fast.
As has been the cꦕase throughout pre-season testing, lap times were incredibly close, with all six manufacturers featuring in a top-nine covered by just 0.8s in the final session.
Meanwhi𝓰le, the later than usual date for the Jerez&nbs🐻p;round means scorching temperatures are set to push man and machine to the limit this weekend.
MotoE will also make its 2020✱ debut this weekend, while it'll be round two for the Moto2 and Moto3 classes, which got to race in Qatar.
