MV Agusta adds third bike for Marcon, plans full 2022 season
MV Agusta Forward Racing will ente🌸r a third bike for Tommaso ꦡMarcon at 'some' European races in the 2021 Moto2 World Championship.
The team then🐎 intends to promote the 22-year-old Italian to a full campaign in 2022.
After starting his career in the Italian Moto3 Championship with the junior teams of Gresini and SIC58, Marcon was a frontrunner in th🉐e 2018 and 2019 European Moto2 Championship. He also made two appearances in the world championship, for Speed Up and then NTS, finishing 27th at Valencia 2019.

Marcon then raced for Tech3 in Mot﷽oE last season, claiming a best result of fifth place (twice) but being left 16th in the st﷽andings after DNFs in three of the seven rounds.

While wild-card appearances are due to be allowed in all three grand prix classes ♒again this season, ওsome believe it still depends on whether MotoGP will increase the number of people allowed into the 'closed paddock' should Covid restrictions remain in place.
Stefan Manzi put MV Agusta on pole position at Valencia la❀st season, before leaving to join the Pons team in 2021. The returning Lorenzo Baldassarri will 🌳take Manzi's place alongside Simone Corsi this season.
