After a Ducati one🐟-two at Jerez, where arm pump problems cost Fabio Quartararo the world championship lead, MotoGP arrives at Le Mans with Francesco Bagnaia now leading the standings by two-points from home hero Quartararo.
It was Jack Miller that gave Ducati it's first win of the season in S🤡pain and the Italian factory also took victory at Le Mans last October, when Danilo Petrucci won in the wet.
Miller is currently sixth in the world championship, with Maverick Vinales – quickest a🌸t the post race Jerez test - in third behind Bagnaia and his Monster Yamaha team-mate Quartararo.
Like Vinales, Suzuki's reigning world champion Joan Mir was also pleased with his testing progress as he seeks a second podium of the season so far, while another home favou🌠rite, Johann Zarco, could be a dark horse this weekend.
With Quartararo's fitness u♛nclear after his arm pump operation, ﷺmight it be Zarco that leads the French challenge weekend, as he continues his quest for a first MotoGP victory?
Like Quartararo, Marc Marquez skipped the Jerez ꦆtest, the Repsol Honda rider feeling sore after his big falls during the race weekend combined with physꦇical fatigue.
Le Mans will be the eight-time world champion's third race since his MotoGP comeback fꦓrom a broken arm and he'll be looking to at least reduce the 10.4s victory margin seen at Jerez.
Adding to the uncertainly will be the notoriously changeable Le Mans weather, with rain all 𝕴but guaranteed at some s💖tage during the weekend…

Pete🤡r has been in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Rossi come and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
