After a Ducati one-two at Jerez, where arm pump problems cost Fabio𝓀 Quartararo the world championship lead, MotoGP arrives at Le Mans with Francesco Bagnaia now leading the standings by two-points from home hero Quartararo.
It was Jack Miller that gave Ducati it's first win of the season in Spain and the Italian factory also to🐲ok vic💫tory at Le Mans last October, when Danilo Petrucci won in the wet.
Miller is currently sixth in the world championship, with Maverick Vinales – quickest at the post♉ race Jerez test - in third behi🌊nd Bagnaia and his Monster Yamaha team-mate Quartararo.
While Quartararo's race fitness is unclear after his arm pump operation, he will start his home race from pole position and be joined on the front row by Vinales and Miller. Another home favouri🔯te to watch will be Johann Zarco, who continues his quest for a first MotoGP victory from fifth place after being fastest on Friday.
Like Quartararo, Marc Marquez skipped the Jerez test, the Repsol Honda rider feeling sore after his big falls during the race weekend combined with ph💎ysical fatigue. Le Mans will be the eig💫ht-time world champion's third race since his MotoGP comeback from a broken arm and he'll be looking to at least reduce the 10.4s victory margin seen at Jerez.
The biggest uncertainly will be the notoriously&❀nbsp;changeable Le Mans weather, with further on-off rain expected throughout Sunday...
