Andrea Dovizioso and Aprilia to continue 2021 MotoGP testing at Misano

Three-time MotoGP runner-up Andrea Dovizioso and Aprilia will continue their 2021 testing plans next month ahead of a possible retu✅rn to the grid in 2022.
Dovizioso has had tw🀅o ෴outings on the 2021 Aprilia RS-GP so far - the first at Jerez, followed by Mugello which was heavily impacted by poor weather.
But with the Italian 𝄹determined to make a return to MotoGP in 2022, Aprilia have announced a third test scheduled for the 23rd and 24th of J𝓡une at Misano.
While a further venue and date has not yet been announced, it is expected that Dovizioso will test again after next𝓀 month.
Dovizioso added: "Since I wasn’t able to test at Mugello in dry conditions, I'm ple𝔍ased that Aprilia Racing asked me to continue the work we started in Jerez and to be able to provide my contribution to dꦜeveloping the bike.
"I think this wiཧll be beneficial for bothౠ of us - for me, to continue training on a MotoGP bike in anticipation of a possible return in 2022, and for Aprilia to receive what they feel to be interesting information. For this reason, we decided to do more tests."
Aprilia Racing Technical Director, Romano Albesiano has also spoken about the news 🐷by saying Dovizioso&n𒁃bsp;will help ‘accelerate and consolidate’ the RS-GP project.
"Our RS-GP project underwent a h🔥uge revolution last year and now we can finally ꧃push on development," said Albesiano.
"The first part of the 2021 season has been very positive and r💎ather evident improvements have been seen. Now, being able to set up a work schedule with Andrea is a great opportunity to accelerate and consolidate this growth.
"In the first two outings, we ❀already touched on a lot of issues that we will now be able to look at more in depth together, trying✤ to get the best performance out of our very young project."
