German MotoGP: Di Giannantonio: MotoGP is ‘my dream, our dream, Fausto’s dream’

Fꦯabio Di Giannantonio will step-up to MotoGP in 2022 with Ducati after the Bꦿologna based manufacturer and Gresini Racing came to an agreement, which will see Ducati run eight bikes.
Di Giannantonio ꦫwill be joined by former Moto3 team-mate and current Esponsorama Ducati rider Enea Bastianini.
The news was announced earlier today, and just like Remy Gardner following his confirmed move to MotoGP a couple of weeks agꦐo, Di Giannantonio was part of the pre-event press conference to discuss his move.
The Italian sa✅id: "First of all, I'm excited to be here for the first time, so it's quite unusual to me. So, honestly, I'm super happy, so excited to start already but we still have to be super focused on this year.
"For sure, next year will be somet🐽hinꦗg amazing for me because I will ride in MotoGP with the best riders in the world and also with the bike of my dreams.
"You know, the Ducati for an Italian guy is soꦰmething amaz📖ing, so yeah really excited. But, as I said, I have to be really focused on this season.
"I want to do more podiums and more victories and arrive in MotoGP as ready as possible, and then try to achieve the best for🏅 this ye♛ar; that's the main goal at the moment!"
The Jerez Moto2 race winner spoke about this being his ‘dream’, but also that of h🍌is late team boss Fausto Gresini.
"Well, especially the first races have been emotional for what happened and everything. It’s just something that we decided꧋ together; to pursue our dreams in the end, my dream, ou💮r boss's dream, Fausto’s dream," added the 22 year-old.
"Our dream is to be at the top level in Moto2 and then be at the top level in MotoGP. I think we are jus🌃t doing what he can be proud of."
