Brad Binder recovered from a shoc𒁏king qualifying that saw him start the Dutch MotoGP in P21, as he gained an impressive nine spots♎ to finish 12th.

Binder having good pace come race day and therefore makꦛing up placeℱs has become one of the surest bets in 2021 so far. 

Although Binder started the German GP much further up - 13th place, it was a similar story in that one as he cam🌜e through to claim fourth - another nice place improvement. 

Binder was surprisingly joined on the back-row of th𓄧e grid by eight-time world champion Marc Marquez for yesterday’s race, as the Spaniard made a🍌n even better comeback - 20th to seventh. 

Unlike Marquez who made up eight places on the open𝕴i𓃲ng lap, it took the South African a bit longer to make his way through the pack after not having ‘the speed in the first stages of the race’. 

The KTM man added: 🎐"Difficult rac🌸e for me. Starting in 21st and trying to pass the guys in the beginning, and then I clearly didn’t have the speed in the first stages of the race. 

"As the laps went down I started to improve my riding at different♔ points on the track and went quicker. At the end I could match my quickest time on the last lap.&nbs✃p;

"I’m glad I made an improvement, but I lost too much time early on. It was an up-and-down weekend and I got a bit lost bu𝄹t I gave ‘my all’ in the race. 

"I was a bit disappointed wit൩h 12th but we’ll re-group and come back stronger in the next phase of the season."
