Crash Media Group, owners of brands ltxcn.top the largest digital motorsport brand in the UK and Visordown.com the largest digital brand in Motorcycling in the UK, is looking 🦹to recruit a full-time junior online journalist.

The role will cover a wide 💖variety of responsibilities: breaking news, features, interviews, race reports and results all with speed and accuracy. You may also be required to attend e💮vents in the UK and abroad.

The major focus of the role will be working as part of the ltxcn.top editorial team covering the World Superbike championship, the British Superbike championship plus other two-wheeled motorsport including MotoGP, while the rol🐼e will also provide a spectrum of op෴portunities and roles at Visordown.com.

Main responsibilities

• Cover breaking news from the motorsport w⛎orld on a wide variety of topics
• Produce i🍎n-depth and engaging feature pieces for both current news and evergreen content
• Create exciting social media strategies and campaigns a💧cꦑross Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others
• Conduct interviews with a variety of motorspo💜rt figures to produce written and video content
• Work within diffꩵerent editorial teams🅰 covering a multitude of events
• Covering breakin🐬g news from the motorcycle and road🅺 bike industry
• Reviewing motorcycles, equipment and gear
• Provide origi🐻nal and engaging content ideas in editorial meetings as well as being a proactive journalist
• Efficient in a multimedi🐈a role working across video, online and graphics
• Be 🅠able to travel to motorsport events when required

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Experience in journalism or appropriate PR work
• The ability to generate wꦡide-ranging content to a high quality with speed and accuracy
• An excellent understanding and applicat൩ion on social media
• A valid motorcycle license
• An interest in a wide range of motorsport and the motorcycle in🐓dustr𒀰y

Preferred:

• Degree in journalism, media or equivalent
• Expeﷺrience with email marketing campaigns and mailchimp
