2022 Isle of Man TT: Organisers launch ‘comprehensive investigation’ into deaths of five riders

Mark Pu🐽rslow, Cesar Chanal, Davy Morgan,🧸 Roger Stockton and his son Bradley all died.
It is the high🏅est death toll in a single year since 1970 wh🍷en six riders lost their lives.
A statement read: “ACU Events Ltd, race org🧔anisers of the Isle of Man TT Races have confirmed that a comprehensive investigative procౠess is being followed for each of the serious incidents that occurred during the 2022 Isle of Man TT Races.
“The investigations systematically analyse every aspect of these incidents using established root cause methodol𒐪ogy.
“A multi-professional team involving all partner organisations reviews the events that occurred and recommendations on the way the event wi🦹ll be delivered in the future will be made.”
TT 🎉Clerk of the Course, Gary Thompson MBE, BEM said: “After every in🤪cident we work tirelessly to understand the circumstances, establish key learning and implement changes as soon as possible.
“Any fatality during an event is a tragedy.
“As an organisation we promise to take any actions t🍎hat can help improve safety and undertake this at the earliest opportunity.”
Five deaths at the 2022 Isle of Man TT

A total of 265 riders have died at the Isle of Man TT siꦕnce 1911.
1982 was the only year without a single death.
