Bri▨an McCormack, t🥂he 2008 Irish Superbike Champion, has been announced as the latest racing star planning to debut at the TT in 2010.

The 26-year-old had been due to make his debut 12 months ago only to be forced out after a split with his British Superbike team. However his commitment to racing at the TT remained and he has confirmed plans to contest all five✅ solo races at this year's event.

He said:

"I really enjoyed my visit to the Island in 2008 and was really disappointed to miss out on competing last year, but my commitment to the event ha🌱s remained and it's going to be fantastic lining up on Glencrutchery Road t💧his June."

"I learnt a lot last year and the road races I did should stand me in good st🎃ead and, whilst the Mountain Course is the biggest test of all, I'm confident that I can acquit myself well. I want to learn the circuit as much ꦓas possible between now and June, put in some solid performances in all of my races and return to the TT for many years to come."

The Waterford rider gradually improved his results in the Irish Championship and, after taking the runner-up spot in 2007, he went one better in 200🍨8 to take the premier Superbike title.

In 2009 McCorm🍎ack had a brief spell in theಌ British Superbike Championship before splitting with the MAR team, but he did make his road racing debut with appearances at both the North West 200 and Killalane Road Races.

His mature approach impressed many pundits, particularly at Killalane w𒊎here he finished 11th in the main Superbike race.
