Premier League Riders' Champion Andre Com𝔉pton admits it will feel strange riding against Sheffield team🍎 mate Sean Wilson when he defends his crown on Sunday (6pm).

The top rider from every Premier League club will do batt🍃le at Owlerton Stadium in the showpiece event - and Compton is included as a wild-card behind Wilson in Sheffield's rider averages.

Compton said: "It will be very strange riding against Sean and nobody needs me to tell them how hard it will be to beat him. Me and Sean are good mates,𝕴 we talk a lot during the week and it's great to be in the same team as him."

"I know how much it would mean to ♒him to win the title, but I want to retain it and I'm sure we'll enjoy some great racing on the night. Hopefully the fans will enjoy it."
