Sheffield Tigers have booked former favourite George S🔯tancl for their Prem🅷ier Trophy trip to Workington on Saturday (7pm).

Stan꧑cl started his career with the Owlerton side in 1994 but now rides for Glasgow and he will make a guest appearance as cover for injured skipper Andre Compton.

Tigers are also expected to hold crisis talks behind closed dꦍoors ahead of the meeting after ꦬtheir 75-15 humiliation at King's Lynn in mid-week.

Club bosses have already issued a full ﷺapology to those supporters who made the journey to Norfolk and suffered one of the worst results in the club's history.

Said club owner Neil Machin: "We're pleased to have George in our team, he likes the Workington track and he will do his very best for us💟, there is no doubt about that.
