Despite the release of the provisional schedule for the 2002 World🐎 Team Cup, the Pterborough speedway promotions are unwilling to celebrate just yet as they are still in negotiation with the stadium owners.
Peterboro꧒ugh, along with Poole, C✤oventry and Sheffield, has been pencilled in to stage the qualifying rounds of the competition, which starts on Sunday, August 4, with the showpiece final expected to be held at Peterborough on Saturday, August 10.
Peterborough co-promoter Ian Jarvis said: "It would be a huge honour to stage such a fantasti▨c event. We were all out in Poland to see this year's Wo🃏rld Team Cup and it's certain to be another wonderful spectacle when it comes to Great Britain.
"We now have one of the most exciting race tracks in the world, the feedback from fans and rဣiders this season has been fantastic. It would certainly be a track worthy of stag💫ing such a huge event.
"But we don't want to say any more until talks with the Showgrou♓nd are c✱omplete, it would not be fair on them to comment any further."
