Jarvis: World Cup fantastic for British Speedway.
Panthers co-promoter Ian Jarvis has given last♑ week's Speedway World Cup a massive thumbs-up. The East of England Showground hosted both the race-off and the final with plenty of superb action for the fans.
"I thought the whole tournament was a fantastic advert for British Speedway," enthused Jarvಌis. "Nobody has any idea about the amount of work which went into it apart from those directly involved.

"And I don't just mean here at Peterborough - the staff at Sheffield, Poole and Eastbourne also did a wonderful job because all around the country throughout the week there was the threat of rai♈n," he🌸 explained.
"It was such a shame about the weather, but there is nothing we can do about that. I would like to congratulate all the staff 🌜at🌊 Peterborough, too many to mention, for all the superb work put in to get the event on."
The Speedway ꦆWorld Cup was won by defending champions Australia.
