Action Express survives scares, still leads at Rolex 24 with four hours to go

The #5 Cadillac🐎 was able to pit under a Full Course Yellow called for debris to undergo a change of its rear structure, allowing the sister #31 Whelen Engineering Racing car to move back onto the lead lap and sit just behind as the morning wore on.
However, the same issue str🔜uck the #31 Cadillac, forcing Mike Conway to go behind the wall and drop three laps back from the lead car, giving United Autosports a chance to moveꦅ into the top two positions.
The #32 United Autosports Ligier JS P217 had bigger issues, though, with an ongoing clutch problem forcing the team to also complete repairs on its ca, allowing Core Autosꦕport to move into third place in the process. The #32 car now sits fourth overall, six laps back from the leader.
Fernando𝄹 Alonso, Lando Norris and Phil Hanson's troublesome race in the sister #23 United Autosports car continued as they were forced to go behind the wall for a second time in the morning, causing them to drop down the order again. The ꧅trio sit 19th at the moment, 35 laps off the lead and two laps back from the #37 Jackie Chan DCR Jota car featuring Lance Stroll.
Ford continues to dominate proceedings in GT Le Mans, albeit with Corvette movin🎶g into striking distance through the morning as the #3 car shared by Jan Magnussen, Antonio Garcia and🐻 Mike Rockenfeller moved onto the lead lap in class.
GT Dayton▨a continues to be the closest-fought class heading into the final four horus of the race, with Franck Perera leading in the #11 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 by 12 seconds from Riley Motorsport's Luca Stolz.
