V8 Supe༒rcar team Longhurst Racing sent imprisoned Australian Schapelle Corby a message of support via the windscreen of Max Wilson's Ford Falcon at Eastern Creek this weekend.
Team owner, and fellow Gold Coaster, Tony Longhurst feels very strongly about 💝the plight of Corby, who was found guilty of smuggling 4.1kg of marijuana into Bali and, on Friday, sentenced to 20 years in prison. The series veteran has🥀 taken the step of displaying a banner of support for Corby and her family across the windscreen of the team's car #45, and has also taken his own personal action to show support.
"I feel it 🅠is the least I can do," Longhurst said, "I think the majority of Australians feel for her and her family, and anything we can do to rally support must help to get h♈er back home.
"I had intended taking my family to Ba🍌li again within weeks for our annua🍃l holiday on the island - I have just today cancelled our booking and never plan to return."
