Burns out of San Remo Rally.
News Flash:♕ Subaru driver Richard Burns has retired from the San Remo rally as a result of a damage tꦯo his Subaru on Special Stage Ten.
Burns had been third overall at the end of the first leg and was the only driver who could take the challenge to the (so far) Peugeot dominated event. However an incident on stage ten of the rally caused his Impreza to develop an oil leak - although🔥 he managed to finish the stage in eleventh, losing 17.9secs to stage winner Makinen.

The damage sustained could not b🥃e repaired by the Prodrive team - despite their efforts in the service area, forci♒ng him to withdraw from the rally.
Burns wa෴s second in the Championship standings just two points behind leader Gronholm (who has been struggling on San Re❀mo's tarmac surface), prior to this event.
