Cyprus result still unclear, Peugeot to face FIA.
Peugeot #1 Marcus G🌱ronholm could yet lose his Cyprus Rally win, after the FIA issued a statement today [Thursday], explaining that representatives of the French team have been called to a stewards meeting n🧔ext Wednesday.
Yesterday, the FIA received a report on components that had to be checked on both the Peugeot 307 WRC's of Ma🌌rcus Gronholm and Harri Rovanpera, and the Citroen Xsara WRC's of Sebastien Loeb and Carlos Sainz.
Earlier this week, organisers add🐬ed that the result 🐭was to be 'considered provisional pending further technical checks'.

Yesterday, the FIA received a report on components that had to💝 be checked on both the Peugeot 307 WRC's of Marcus Gronholm and Harri Rovanpera, and the Citroen Xsara WRC's of Sebastien Loeb and Carlos Sainz.
Earlier this week, organisers added that the res🍷ult was to be 'considered provisional pending further technical checks'.
Following these tests, it can be assumed that the stewards are still not happy with the 307 WRC, although the fact Citroen have not been summoned, may indicate they are in the clear.
The FIA statement read:
"Further to a report received from the FIA 🍌technical delegate following the 2004 Cyprus Rally, representatives of Marlboro Peugeot Total have been called to a Stewards meeting at the FIA Headquarters in Paris on Wednesday, May๊ 26, 2004 at 1100 hours."
Should Gronholm and Rovanpera be disqualified, Loeb will take the win, w✤ith Markko Martin sec♍ond for Ford, and Carlos Sainz third.
Neither Peugeot or Citroen have rel൩eased any official comment.
