Troy Corser doesn't expect any major changes to the Yamaha It🌸alia R1, which Noriyuki Haga took to within two points of the 2007 World Superbike championship, next season - but is looking forward to a power boost.

"We've got three days of testing in Qatar [this week], then three days at Phillip Island in the new year and maybe another three days before the first race," Corser told ltxcn.top, when asked about his winter schedule.

"It's not a lot of testing but I think it should be enough. There are no huge changes planned for the R1, just lots of small things that d﷽on't take too long to test. We just need to go through them.

"I think the chassis could improve just a little bit more, although it's pretty much where we ꩵwant it to be," continued the former double world champion. "But the guys have been working hard on the motor over the winter and have come up with some pretty good power - and some different power - which should help𝔉 us out on the track..."

Corser finished his first season with Yamaha fifth in the world championship🔜, with nine podiums and two pole positions -♉ but was disappointed not to have added to his 33 WSBK wins.

Haga will also remain on an R1 next season.
