Foggy to race at British GP?

Former four-times WSBK champion and F♑oggy Petronas team principal, Carl Fogarty, is rumoured to be considering an invitation to race in the Veterans class at 🗹the forthcoming British Motocross Grand Prix at Mallory Park.

While there is no official word on the matter the Briton - who retired from WSBK after a career-ending accident at Phillip Island in 2000 - is thought to have been approached about the possibility of racing for home manufactur𓄧꧒er CCM.

While there is no official word on the matter the Briton - who retired from WSBK after a career-ending accident at Phillip Island in 2000 - is thought to have been approached abouওt the possibility of racing for home manufacturer CCM.

The Veterans World Championship is a mini-series, consisting of 'past maste♑rs', which supports the main MX1 and MX2 classe🐭s at several grands prix each season. Britain's triple 500cc Motocross world champion Dave Thorpe is the defending Veterans champion.

Whilst still a regu𝓡lar off-road rider in his spare time (pictured), Foggy's la𝓰st grand prix experience was on asphalt, in the 1993 500cc British Grand Prix at Donington Park, when he claimed a fourth place finish for Cagiva.

The British Motocross Grand Prix will take place at aꦅ newly constructed Mallory Park off-road circuit on June 1ꦿ.
