POLL: Who will be top Brit at Donington Park?

Donington Park makes a welcome return to the World Superbike Championship schedule this weekend with the usual bevy of British talent biddin꧅g to command the local fans' 🦂plaudits.
Indeed, while the British contingent is well⛦ regarded all-year round, they are particularly feared by continental rivals on home soil, not least this season where the temperatures are expected to favour those who plied their early motorcycling trade in the co𝓡oler climes of the UK racing scene.
🧸Even so, while British fans are likely to divide their ✨loyalty equally to each of their local heroes, there will always be some 'inter-national' rivalry amongst the riders themselves.
In all, five will be competing - a quarter of the field -, though this discounts the injured James Toseland and includes Eugene Laverty, who races 𝕴under the Irish flag but is treating Donington Park as his adopted home ev🔥ent.
Currently Leon Haslam leads the British field in the standings following his podium at Phillip Island. More local than most, Haslam's father Ron u🍒sed to ru🧜n a racing school at Donington Park.
Elsewhere, Jonathan Rea w🗹ill look to overcome his Phillip Island difficulties with a strong performance this weekend. The Ulsterman is the only one of the British riders riding for the same team in 2011 and he did in 2009.
A fine Superbike debut at Phillip Islan🍰d gives Yamaha's Laverty high hopes for Donington Park, with a podium in the offing, while Leon Camier is feeling confident having overcome his bout of glandular fever.
Finally, Tom Sykes will bid to give the new Kawasaki a beᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚཧ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtter showing at Donington Park after a solid, but fairly unspectacular, debut in Australia.
Five riders, five different bikes - but who do you think will the home ༺favourite come Sunday...?
