Davies preparing for WSBK step up

Chaz Davies is looking forward to making his World Superbike🐽 Championship debut in 2012 ab𓆉oard a latest specification Ducati 1198.
The Welshman, who romped to the 2011 World Supersport Cham♌pionship title with ParkinGO, will step up to the Superbike class for the first time with the same team next season aboard a twin-cylinder Ducati.
Indeed, ParkinGO have bold plans for its WSBK venture, purchasing a 2012-specificat❀ion 1198 and enlisting the help of Lucio Nicastro as manager and Alberto Colombo as its technical director.
"The plan is to move into Superbike🃏 with Chaz," said ParkinGO owner Giuliano Rovelli. "We will have new 1198 machines. We have ordered them directly from Ducati, so they will be brand new. The team that I have already confirmed is Lucio Nicastro, my right hand/team manager and the technical director of the team will be Alberto 'Moro♎' Colombo.
"We will have an engineer and an electronics engineer from Ducati Corse. We will use ?hlins suspension and we are now plannꦆing our winter test schedule."
An exciting time for Davies, h🥃e believes the prospect of having Nicastro and Colombo on board will give him a great opportunity to hit the ground running.
"I rode a Ducati 800 before but it is going to be a million miles away from what this is. Only the brand will be the same. I rode a twin once before for a season in AMA, just not a Ducati. To start in Superbike with all the personnel, like Moro and Lucio and two guys from Ducati - you cannot really ask f✨or a better start."
