WSBK Jerez: Davies seeking 'two or three tenths' for podium battle

Chaz Davies admitted after qualifying that he ℱneeds to find "two or three tenths" to be able to battle for the podium at Jerez this weekend but remains con🙈fident that is an achievable objective.
Two crashes during Friday's practice sessions didn't give Davies the strongest start to the Spanish WSBK race weekend, but the Welshman was pleased with the p♌rogress in the lead up to Superpol🔯e, where he proceeded to qualify in seventh.
"It's not been too but the speed is so-so and straight away when I rolled out yesterday it felt good but in the afternoon I crashed twice," he told ltxcn.top. "It was a little bit of a lack of feeling in the front, I could push it but then straight away it was gone so it was a bit weird. Jerez can be𝔍 a bit like that though when the temperature rises but today we made some t𝓀weaks and it felt a bit better.
"In Superpole it was pretty decent so all in all it's n🗹ot too bad and we're there or thereabouts but we need to find two or three tenths."
When asked 𓆉what his target was for tomorrow's race Davies spoke about the congested battle for the podium where numerous riders seem to have similar race pace
"I think that the pace for the podium is quite tight, Marco is the only guy that I can see that has a really ꦚgood pace and can do it at the end of the race, but there's a lot of guys quite close together so it will be an interesting race."
